CNN just ran the first of a series of stories they will be doing about the ERA. It includes coverage of Equal Means Equal, an important documentary project by my friend and colleague, Kamala Lopez, about the need to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment.
Kamala, an actor, director and women’s rights activist, featured in Find Your Voice, is on a mission to get the ERA passed so we can finally have women’s equality under federal law. I support her mission and her work 100 percent and invite you to join me in supporting her.
This is a critical juncture for the film as we could really maximize the buzz, PR and momentum the film has and interest distributors. Timing is very important. Potential distributors are going to be looking very closely at how many supporters have subscribed to the film’s website and how many social media followers they have.
For this reason, I would like to ask you to PLEASE, as soon as you can:
- go to the Equal Means Equal website: http://equalmeansequal.com/
click on the “JOIN US!” page
SCROLL DOWN and subscribe to the newsletter
If you haven’t connected with their social media please do so now:
ask 5 of your friends to please do the same.
If you post on social media, please use the hashtag #EqualMeansEqual.
